We are offering our guests the ability to select a date with a ticket price that varies based on projected visitation.

Flexible ticket price options improves accessibility and may help reduce crowding during high visitation periods.

Prices will change day-to-day based on projected visitation. For example, Wednesday may be one price point and Saturday may be another price point.

Discounts will be applied to the price for the given day selected. Discounted tickets will either be available as an option in the results after selecting date or applied via promo code at checkout. Discounts are valid only on selected dates and cruises and are not combinable with any other offer.

Yes, guests are able to modify their tour date once, but it is subject to the incremental change in price that may occur based on the new date selected. To get the best price for your tour, we recommend booking well in advance. Because our prices will increase as the date approaches, you’ll get the lowest rates when you book early.

Yes, all are welcome aboard! Infants aged under 2 years cruise free and require a ticket. Child rates apply to persons aged 2-11 years. Standard rates apply to children aged 12 years and older.

For young families, we highly recommend the 4 to 5-hour Spring Resurrection Bay Tour and Resurrection Bay Tours. For the more adventurous, our 6-hour National Park Tour or 5.5-hour Glacier Dinner cruise makes for a great outing.

To ensure that you enjoy your time exploring Kenai Fjords National Park with us, we kindly ask that you limit what you bring onboard to one bag per person per seat.

Yes. For your safety, we ask all passengers to complete a waiver before boarding the boat. Your waiver will be sent by email ahead of your visit.

No, we travel in US waters.

We get to see the wildlife at any time during the day, when they decide.

You're welcome to bring your own food. We encourage anyone with dietary or allergy restrictions to bring their own food. Alcohol beverages are not permitted.

Yes, the 6-hour National Park Tour aligns with the same-day train arrival and departure with the Alaska Railroad. The train arrives in Seward at approximately 11:20 AM* and the tour departs at 11:30 AM. A shuttle will transport you from the train depot to the Kenai Fjords Office for check-in.

When the cruise returns at 5:30 PM you will have enough time to board the Kenai Fjords Tours Shuttle to arrive at the Alaska Railroad Depot before the 6 PM train departure.

*If the train arrives late, passengers will miss the 11:30 AM departure time. We will try our best to accommodate by providing alternate tour options, space available. An alternative option would be to go on the 5-hour Resurrection Bay Tour that departs at 12 PM.

Like most of coastal Alaska, Seward is a temperate rainforest. We highly recommend dressing in layers, including a warm rain-proof coat, hat, and gloves. Our gift shop has these on sale if you do not have any. Don’t let the forecast fool you — Kenai Fjords’ glaciers and waterfalls come alive when the rain falls. Our tours go out rain or shine and can provide some spectacular glacier landscapes and wildlife sightings.
