Denali (formerly Mount McKinley) can be seen on a trip with Denali Backcountry Adventure. However, weather conditions may impede the visibility of the mountain on the day of your tour.
Denali Backcountry Adventure bus can accommodate a folding wheelchair, however, guests must be able to step onto the bus without assistance.

If you are not departing from Denali Cabins, we will need to know your pick-up location when you make your reservation. You can do this by letting your tour consultant know, or by selecting your location in your online reservation.

The tour is approximately 10 to 12 hours round trip and includes a two-hour stop at Alpine Creek Lodge for lunch followed by activities.
Yes. Denali Backcountry Adventure can stop anywhere along the Denali Highway and guests are welcome to take photos at any time, on or off the bus. Please be advised that while we stop for wildlife and scenic views, we will not allow guests to disembark if wildlife is too close to the bus, for the safety of the animals and guests.
Wildlife is unpredictable but the area is home to moose, caribou, bears and other animals.
Yes, Denali Backcountry Adventure makes stops each way so guests can stretch their legs and take in the incredible views.
Lunch is served at Alpine Creek Lodge and includes drinks and an entrée with sides. Activities take place immediately following lunch.
No, the National Park Service has closed Denali Park Road at Mile 43 for on-going road maintenance.
