Where are Denali Cabins located?

Denali Cabins is located at Mile Post 229 on George Parks Highway. In rural rural areas of Alaska, such as Denali National Park, this is what Alaskans use as an address.

Is there transportation available from the train station?

Yes, Denali Cabins is pleased to offer additional baggage handling and transportation services for all rail arrivals and departures for a $12 per person fee. Please contact us to book this in advance.

Is there a shuttle service to other areas in Denali?

We provide a shuttle from Denali Cabins from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. to the Denali Visitor Center, the Denali Rail Depot, and Denali Park.

Are the Denali Cabins wheelchair accessible?

Yes. There are wheelchair accessible cabins and rooms at Denali Cabins. Please contact our travel experts to ask about accessible options.

Is there Wi-Fi in my room?

Yes, Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.

Are there bathrooms in the cabins?

Yes. Each individual cabin comes equipped with a bathroom and shower.

Where does water come from at Denali Cabins?

All water fixtures at Denali Cabins are designated as low-flow to help conserve water. Water is pulled from on-property wells which are then filtered and distributed to cabins.

Where can I go for food?

Prey Pub and Eatery is the onsite restaurant at Denali Cabins. Its full-service bar features Alaskan-brewed beer, wine and spirits.

What time do the hot tubs open?

Denali Cabins' two outdoor hot tubs are open daily from 10 AM to 10 PM. Sauna is open 4 PM to 10 PM daily.

Will I be able to see the Northern Lights from here?

Though we cannot guarantee it, when active, the Aurora Borealis is visible from the Denali Cabins.

The best chances for viewing this natural phenomenon are in late August and early September when the evening skies begin to darken.

Are you associated with any other accommodations in the Denali Canyon?

Yes. The Alaska Collection owns and operates Denali Cabins and Denali Backcountry Lodge in Kantishna, where we run an exclusive fly-in service, 92 miles deep in Denali.

I am staying at the fly-in Denali Backcountry Lodge . Can I stay at Denali Cabins before and after?

Yes, we highly recommend booking a pre and post-night at Denali Cabins for ease of travel. While weather dependent, you will have an opportunity to see Denali from the air.

Can I see Denali from Denali Cabins?

Denali is not visible from the Park Entrance or the Denali Canyon area, however, you could see Denali from the air should you choose to stay at Denali Backcountry Lodge.
